Weekend dedicato al decluttering | This weekend I'm decluttering

Decluttering, come già saprete, significa rimuovere il superfluo. Con queste meravigliose giornate di sole, le finestre aperte e la mia musica preferita di sottofondo sto facendo ordine dove non lo faccio da anni... 

L'armadio in questione era un vero casino e per trovare un asciugapiatti decente dovevo fare la caccia al tesoro: ma adesso ho buttato tutto ciò che da tempo non usavo (perché rovinato o brutto) e messo ordine nel resto.

1. Ho acquistato delle scatole di cartone Domopak
2. Ho piegato a tubo salviette, salviettoni e asciugapiatti, come avevo visto in un video tutorial di Casa Facile. E' un metodo che avevo già applicato all'armadio delle mie figlie ripiegando a tubo magliette, felpe, leggins, pigiamini e canottiere: il vantaggio è che tutti i capi sono in vista ed è più facile la scelta senza ribaltare l'armadio (la mia figlia piccola se voleva la maglietta alla base della pila mi rivoltava tutte le altre...).
3. Infine ho etichettato le scatole, per trovare più facilmente il contenuto: ho stampato le etichette e le ho attaccate con il Patafix.

As you know, decluttering means remove unnecessary items. With these beautiful sunny days, the windows open and my favorite music in the background, I'm reordering where I didn't do it for years... The closet in question was a real mess, and to find a decent dishtowels I had to do the treasure hunt: but now I threw all things I didn't use (because it was ruined or ugly) and I put order in the rest.

1. I bought cardboard boxes Domopak
2. I fold as tube towels and dishtowels, as I saw in a video tutorial of Casa Facile (italian magazine). It's a method that I had already applied to my daughters closet, folding as tube their t-shirts, sweatshirts, leggings, pajamas and tank tops: the advantage is that you can see all the items and the choice is easier without tipping the wardrobe (if my little daughter wanted the T-shirt at the base of the stack, she revolted all the other T-shirts...).
3. Finally I have labeled the boxes to find more easily the content: I printed labels and I stick them on boxes with Patafix.
